Women's Rights Information Center provides knowledge and opportunities to support the economic aspirations,
self-sufficiency, and emotional well-being of individuals so they may live with hope, security, and dignity.

CAREER SERVICES

Equip yourself with the skills and tools you need to get a new or better job. For job search counseling, interview coaching, networking, employment assistance, resume development, and career counseling, call (201) 568-1166 for an orientation appointment.

CAREER CLOSET

Enter the workforce with style and confidence. Low-income job seekers can shop for outfits and accessories from our Career Closet of donated items. To make an appointment, call (201) 568-1166.

Clothing donations are being accepted by WRIC volunteers at Past & Present Consignment Shop, 253 Closter Dock Road, Closter, New Jersey. We ask that all donated items be no older than 5 years old, laundered, on hangers, seasonally appropriate, and suited for interviews, job, or network settings. Call ahead for drop-off hours - 201-784-7441.

MICROSOFT TRAINING

Financial Literacy

HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Our dedicated program provides a range of free services including case management, crisis intervention, safety planning, legal support, counseling, advocacy, and referrals. We understand the complexities of one’s experience and are committed to offering victim-centered, trauma-informed care tailored to individual needs. LEGAL CONSULTATIONS

For family, matrimonial and child support issues, and immigration issues, half-hour appointments are scheduled Monday evenings and one Thursday night a month with attorneys specializing in family law. UNEMPLOYMENT/RE-EMPLOYMENT

For displaced workers or the unemployed seeking computer training and/or certification to improve their work qualifications and re-enter the workforce. You may be eligible for referrals or funded training through the Bergen County Job Center, and apprenticeship programs through Bergen Community College. WOMEN'S DIVERSITY BOOK GROUP
